Potato chips, like the portions on other goods, are now down to a reasonable size.

Hot Dogs now come in packs of 8

Good news from the recession front, hot dogs now come in packs of 8 instead of packs of ten, meaning that you can now buy a single pack of hot-dogs, a single pack of buns, and not have to make beans and weenies.

A trillion dollar CANADIAN opportunity... I doubt they'd pay our deficit for us.

Also, regarding the depletion of oil. It is notable that with the exception of nuclear power, oil, natural gas, etc... is our only useful net positive energy producer that is available everywhere. Solar takes more energy to produce than the cell will produce over it's lifetime. I consider it 'moving' energy not making energy. Wind is VERY useful, as is water... but they're not sufficiently potent or reliable everywhere.
